My journey into teaching at Global Art began with a lifelong passion for creativity & self-expression, inspired by an art teacher who once nurtured my own artistic voice. I’ve taught at Global Art Bishan for 12 years, growing as both an educator and artist. One proud highlight was my student, Mary Jane Laiman winning The Most Creative Award at the 2024 SIAC among nearly 600 entries.
My teaching approach focuses on creating a safe & supportive environment where students build confidence through experimentation, problem-solving & learning to “trust the process”. Seeing students grow in both artistic skills & self-expression makes teaching deeply fulfilling.
